Newsletter (7) from Cohesion label (2nd February 2006)
Dear All
Firstly, a very belated Happy 2006 to everyone! It's been a while since we had a newsletter, mostly because there hasn't been much that hasn't been covered on the message board or Platform End - and things have been busy in the Creature camp.
Within the next couple of weeks you will notice a slight difference in the shopping pages when you buy a CD as we are trying to expand the range of CDs we offer. To this end, we have set up CD Warehouse (www.cd-warehouse.com) and hope to be able to source a variety of different artists' CDs, especially those who are not covered by the shops and other sites. Obviously all the Earth Band material will still be there, as will the members' other projects, but they will be displayed slightly differently to the current format, with soundbites and information on the albums immediately accessible from the shopping page - hope you like the improvements.
If there are any CDs you've been trying to get hold of, please let us know and we'll do our best to find them for you. Alternatively if you know of any artists who need online distribution we will try to help them too!
Another exciting development to the shopping pages will be downloads. I know a lot of fans have been waiting to be able to download individual tracks. You will be pleased to know that we are in the process of making all Earth Band tracks, from all the albums, available for download, which should go live in the next few weeks.
The Best Of DVD is coming along: transferring old films to digital and checking quality takes time, and the clearances with the relevant film companies will take time, but we're still hoping to get this out some time during the summer.
We'll let you have any other news as and when it happens.
Thanks for your continued support.
Best wishes
Helen and Steve
